Prairie Village Renovation - Bubb Cribb Team- High Drive Project - Week #3.5 - Goodbye Landscaping, Stained Floors, Tile....

Welcome Back to our Prairie Village - High Drive Home Makeover!

Check out the progress on this visual tour of our latest updates.  We finished week three with some good hard physical labor, got to work on staining and choosing the floors and we get a preview of our week #4 handiwork as our quartz counter-tops just arrived!

The week in review...

Hey Miki Your So Fine - Look who stopped in for a visit, our good friend Miki Jarrett had a look at the digs and we worked on her making sure Drew Six could stop in for an autograph signing concert in the backyard!

Team Cribb - Meg, Chris, Ellie & Rosie did our own heavy lifting and ripped out all of the crazy growth in the front landscaping beds.  Now a blank slate to make our own come springtime!

Dad - Will you wear your POLO too today?  Ellie is looking sassy modeling the new stairs and freshly laid carpet headed to the finished basement.

Carpet installed downstairs - looks good ready to bring in the interior designers and our furniture!  Let's just hope we can get everything down the stairs and past the railing!

Why Yes - I will take a nice cup of Espresso - First glimpse at the floor colors chosen by Miss Meg, they look nice, we went darker, it reminded me of an espresso, that might not be the true color, but it's close!

You Pull Up The Floor To Find... It's an old house and in both of the bathrooms, as I believe you would find in many others we pulled up the floors to find we needed to repair the sub-flooring before making our new tile plan come through.

First Past - The dark contrasts well against the Pink Stripes - Rosie's bedroom after the first coat is applied.

Casa De Cribb Master Bedroom - The dark floors do help contrast and bring more blue out of the walls with the touch of green, more of a beach feeling coming every day!

First Glimpse - Bathroom Tile is in for Bathroom #1 - oh boy does it look better than before!

Side Note - As we broke into the bathroom fun for the Master Bath we realized that at some point an old tile had been removed to get rid of a towel rack... the problem is the replacement tiles were painted with what tended to look like white out.  We were able to salvage a few replacement tiles from the vanity in the bathroom - so note to all renovators out there - KEEP A FEW EXTRA TILES!

Hallmark Stone - Dropped in on Monday with a great gift, new counter-tops - quartz white with a vein of silver running through, great guys, quick efficient and everything looks ready to be finished!

Installed and Ready - One shot here of the new counter-top bar area between the kitchen and the living room, very happy we made the choice to replace this with the same style and cut.

Progress continues and we are excited to have you drop back in soon for the next stages!  If you have any questions, comments or would like a sneak peek into our The Bubb Cribb Team contractor database of partners (or would like to be one yourself) shoot us a message at thebubbcribbteam@reecenichols.com!
